Dr Nick Hill - founder and inventor

Nick is a physicist by training, having studied undergraduate at Oxford and Ph.D. at Cambridge. Since graduating he stayed in the high-tech hub of Cambridge, working for the technology licensing company NXT. Success at NXT meant rising to the position of General Manager Technology Development and a number of major technical innovations achieved both personally and through a research team. Chief among these was the invention and development of a new touchscreen technology, now licensed to 3M.

In 2006 Nick left NXT to start Cambridge Resonant Technologies to capitalise on his independent work in RFID.

 
Pilgrim Beart - non-executive director

Pilgrim is an experienced entrepreneur and has founded multiple businesses in the Cambridge area. He has worked in high technology for the past 20 years and his previous ventures include both RFID (ActiveRF Ltd) and wireless power (Splashpower Ltd).

Recognising the potential of the technology Pilgrim joined the board of Cambridge Resonant in 2007. He brings valuable experience in the most relevant industry sectors, and a proven track record of converting new technology into advanced products.

 
Dr Jane Hill - founder

Jane is a physicist by training, studying undergraduate at Imperial College London and Ph.D. at Cambridge. After graduating she moved into commercial work specialising in market analysis to direct top level strategy. She has worked for Natwest Management Consultancy and Amgen.

Jane is also currently studying for an MBA.
